PROFILE
HELLO!
My name is Torunn Øvland Kristiansen and I am a Norwegian graphic designer. After studying graphic design at the Norwegian School of Creative Studies (NKF), I decided to finish my Bachelor of Design, majoring Visual Communication Design, at the Queensland College of Art – Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia.
My approach to design after several years of practicing and learning is driven by the idea of design as a tool to communicate important issues. This approach of socially responsible communication plays
a big role in my designs to create new communication channels
and dialogues.
I also strongly believe that developing creative solutions with an aesthetic layer to it is necessary to gain people’s attention and encourage them to engage.
If you have any questions or projects do not hesitate to contact me. Feel free to follow me on Bèhance or connect with me on LinkedIn.
